Shockoe Wide Open Art & Food Walk Friday 5-9pm; Shockoe Bottom
Devoted to building a more cohesive Shockoe community, Shockoe Wide Open will showcase the combined area as a center for cultural growth and sustainability. This new art walk will feature a little something for everyone, including local art, chef small plate specialties, locally made cheeses and wines, an excellent assortment of antiques, locally crafted jewelry, and local musicians. Beginning at 5pm and continuing until 9pm, the stroll or ride along cobblestone streets is a collaboration between The Tobacco Company, Sine’, Dora’s Brazilian Grill, Frame Nation, The Urban Farmhouse Market and Café, The Whitley Gallery, City Dogs, The Historic 17th Street Marketplace, Dransfield Jewelers, The Antique Boutique, C’est Le Vin and Eric Shindler Gallery; with several more local businesses jumping on board daily!
